About Dr. Hori

James Hori, DDS, is a skilled and friendly dentist who treats patients at Leeward Pediatric Dentistry, conveniently located in Waipahu, Hawaii.

Dr. Hori graduated from the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, California. He then completed a pediatric residency at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Hori likes to remain current on significant developments in the field of dentistry by reading and enrolling in continuing education courses. In doing so, he ensures that his patients always receive the best treatments available to modern dentistry. 

After working with his uncle and mentor, Richard Hori, DDS, Dr. Hori decided that he wanted to work as a private practitioner. He has a longstanding passion for dentistry and enjoys making personal connections with his patients and giving them beautiful and healthy smiles that last a lifetime.

Highly skilled in orthodontics and helping patients straighten their teeth with braces, Dr. Hori never uses any sedation or gas in his work, as he prefers to keep his practice kid-safe and kid-friendly. Dr. Hori looks forward to working with new patients and continuing his care of returning clients at Leeward Pediatric Dentistry.
